Arrival to Bratislava or Vienna
Morning guided tour in Bratislava. Seeing the highlights of the small big city. Lunch in Bratislava.
Transfer to the town of Modra. Visiting the manufacture producing majolica. A jewel among the majolica manufactures. This is a “must-see“ location while on the grand tour of Slovakia!
After visiting the manufacture in Modra, short transfer to the world famous SPA town called Piešťany – the biggest SPA town in Slovakia specialized in the treatment of disorders and diseases of locomotion apparatus. Staying overnight in Piešťany.
Transfer from Piešťany to a small village called Čičmany. The village is famous for its Folk Culture Reserve with wooden houses and their typical decorated walls.
The Reserve counts 136 houses. Enjoy easy walk through the main street of the village of Čičmany. Lunch in Fačkovské Sedlo.
Afternoon drive to Bojnice. Visit Bojnický Zámok (Castle Bojnice) another highlight of our grand tour of Slovakia.
The Castle is located at the travertine monticule on the site of a medieval castle from the 11th century. Staying overnight in Bojnice.
A short drive from Bojnice to Banská Štiavnica – the capital town of gold and miners. Slovakia has a deep history of mining. Today you will visit one of the old Slovak mines with us. The highlight of today is a local micro-brewery called Erb offering also delicious meals.
The afternoon drive will continue to Špania Dolina, another place with a rich tradition of mining but also famous for local production of bobbin lace. If you love handmade things from Slovakia this will be the highlight of the grand tour for you. Staying overnight in the Low Tatras.
Today we will get from the cities back to nature. We will be visiting two national parks of Slovakia in one day. Using cable cars we will visit the highest point of Low Tatras called Chopok /2024m/. The most popular place of all our tours in Slovakia.
Afternoon drive to Štrbské Pleso /1400m/, one of the biggest tarns in the High Tatras in Slovakia. A very popular place for skiing holidays in winter or bearwatching day tour in summer. Time to relax and enjoy the fresh air from the local forest. Staying overnight in Štrbské Pleso.

Leaving Vrbov. We are going to explore and visit the top UNESCO sites in Slovakia. Our guide will take you to St. James Basilica in Levoča where you can see the highest wooden gothic altair in the world.
It was placed on the Unesco World Heritage Sites List in 2009. Lunch near Spišský Hrad.
Afternoon visit of the Spiš Castle which will take about two hours. History of the Castle dates back to the 11th century. For the brave ones, there is a chance to hike up to the highest tower of the Spiš Castle.
Our day will finish in Bardejov in the eastern Slovakia – the town with a beautiful main square and typical architecture.
Grand tour of Slovakia continues through the eastern parts of our country. Explore Bardejov in morning hours and then drive to the village of Hervartov.
The village of Hervartov is famous for its Wooden Church (which is on the Unesco Heritage List) built in harmony with human soul and nature.
If you are interested, we can visit more wooden churches in the eastern Slovakia. They are definitely the top three highlights of Slovakia. Afternoon drive to Košice – the second biggest city in Slovakia.
The most famous places here are a great square, St. Elisabeth Cathedral in gothic style, singing fountain and chimes and many coffee places. Staying overnight in Košice.
Enjoy the morning explore and discover the city of Košice on your own. Have lunch in one of the restaurants recommended by your guide and our grand tour can continue to the southern Slovakia.
