Your guide will lead you through Hornád Gorge (“Prielom Hornádu” in Slovak) and show you its most beautiful spots. See for yourself why this wilderness has earned the name ““Paradise”.

What awaits you on this 1-day trip?

• Authentic experiences: You will be accompanied by a local guide from the Spiš region who knows every corner of the area. He will show you all the green trees, a canyon full of small natural streams, caves, plants, and animals.
• Individual approach: We will fully adapt the pace and length of your Slovak Paradise hiking adventure to your fitness level. The full hike lasts about 8 hours, but if you prefer a shorter version, we can cut the route in half (to “Letanovský mlyn”).
• Adventurous experience: You can expect metal steps set directly into the vertical rocks above the water level of the Hornád, ladders, and suspension bridges. It is pure adrenaline in the heart of the wilderness, turning an ordinary day into an unforgettable experience.
• Guided Tour: Hornád Gorge is a difficult terrain that deserves respect. Our guide will safely lead you through exposed sections and metal steps. The guide will show you where to place your feet and where to grip, giving you confidence in places where you might otherwise lose it.
• Flexible direction: You decide where our hike will start. We can start from “Podlesok” and finish at the “Čingov” campsite, or you can choose the opposite route. We will adapt to whatever suits you best.

Step into Hornád Gorge with Us

Your Slovak Paradise hiking adventure starts as soon as you get in the car. After a short drive, we get out in “Podlesok“. Here, surrounded by wild nature, we enter a narrow canyon. Green trees lean over the water, and before us opens the gateway to Hornád Gorge – the most popular trail in the Slovak Paradise National Park.

Steep limestone rocks, a wild river, and an adrenaline rush on metal steps await us. The scenery changes with every step, and you will enjoy being in touch with the wilderness and the view of the deep green forest. After hours full of experiences, we’ll reach our destination – the “Čingov” campsite (or “Letanovský mlyn” if you’ve chosen the shorter version of the hike). From there, a private taxi will take us back to the car, and we will return to the hotel, full of memories.
