List of best places to take children in High Tatras

Do you have children and they like to explore? Are they full of energy but you would like to relax? Here are some great tips to go when they get bored! Visit breathtaking Tricklandia, beautiful pathway through trees in Bachledova dolina and funny Spider park!

Tricklandia

A place where you lose your mind! Beautiful artworks with Slovak motives and traditional Slovak fairytales and legends! Take hundred of photos of your children in a magic ball, let them kiss a frog on the wall, buy them some brain teasers or puzzles!

Some parts of Tricklandia will force them to think if they are still in reality! There is a mirror labirint (do not worry, instructors will inform you to not get lost), over turned room, endless library with a million of books and a lot of optical illusions!

Park your car in Starý Smokovec and enjoy!

  • Show takes max 1h.
  • You can not take baby carriage indoors.

Veveričí park

This place is in Štrbské pleso, next to the parking place. This park consist of two tracks: one for small squirells (children) and one for big squirells (adults). The track for adults is 320m long in 5m height. It takes maybe 45min to go through it. Your children can play on small track while you are sitting in cake shop nearby.

When you climb through various obstacles, you can see peaks of HighTatras and enjoy beautiful views! Your childred will be definitely tired after this day of running and jumping!

Bachledova dolina – The path through treetops

This wonderful path is located in the centre of Bachledova dolina. Have you ever walk through treetops?

During this way you can try some adrenaline challenges such as walking through bridge and watching gap under you legs! Or you can educate and find out more about flora and fauna of Slovakia!

Everything is perfectly safe but you have to take touristic boots. You can not take a baby carriage there.
